Flash ActionScript

Adobe Actionscript is a programming language for Adobe Flash. It looks a lot like JavaScript and is used to implement dynamic features within Adobe Flash applications.

Actionscript was originally designed for controlled simple 2D vector animations. Later versions of Flash offer very powerful functionality allowing the creation of rich Internet applications. A good example of such an application is www.sliderocket.com.

Below is an example of new camera Technology recently introduced by Silicon Valley start up Lytro. Their new camera captures all the information it possibly can about the field of light in front of it. You then get a digital photo that is adjustable in an almost infinite number of ways. Using flash we can take these photos and edit them in a number of ways. For example, click on an area of the image to focus on that point or double click to zoom in.
