Microsoft VB.NET
VB.Net was formerly known as Visual Basic .Net. It’s identical in every way and when looking at a .Net windows application or website you couldn’t tell whether C# or VB were used because they both compile down to the same language.
Geek Fact
Visual Basic is a very old language, it first appeared in 1991. To give you an idea this is between the releases of Windows 3.0 and 3.1 which appeared in 1990 and 1992 respectively!
